The Bongo’s Bingo Charity Knees-up was a huge success! We’ve been totting up our numbers, counting our pennies and we are ecstatic to announce we raised over £40k for Onside Youth Zones! OnSide’s Youth Zones are designed to give young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to in their leisure time; occupying their bodies and minds with fun activities, learning new skills and socialising in a safe, positive way. It was a truly amazing night, A MASSIVE thank you to all the Mission Mars staff from various venues that helped out on the night and contributed to the huge success of the evening.
We had Bongo’s Bingos and a charity auction with fabulous prizes including a VIP football experience, Dinner with everyone’s favourite celebrity chef Simon Rimmer, a luxury night in Edinburgh, a behind the scenes of the filming of Sunday Brunch and an exclusive Manchester arena experience with Little Mix and Liam Gallagher. With sets from Beverly Knight and other guest DJ’s, not to mention the unbelievable grime set (everyone went wild) from Boris; a youth who frequents Oldham’s OnSide youth zone.
